A handy task bar icon allows users to quickly erase all
histories and close all IE instances at the touch of a button.
The taskbar icon can be enabled/disabled through the "Other"
functions button in the Guard-IE Settings/Control Panel.
Pressing the GuardWall castle in the taskbar will bring up the
menu seen below. Just select the function you wish.
Choosing this option will shut down ALL browser windows on your machine. This is a useful tool if, for some reason, you have turned off the Popup Blocker and have visited a site that opens up too many pop-ups.
Pressing the Advanced Options brings up the following menu:
Guard-IE can be completely disabled by selecting the "Disable
Guard-IE completely" selection.
This option allows you to temporarily bypass all Guard-IE functions
without having to uninstall the program. This is particularly
useful for webmasters who wish to test their own sites without have
Guard-IE interfering.
